Before you begin, make sure your domain is eligible for transfer. Most domains can be transferred, but some restrictions may apply based on the domain extension (TLD). Not to worry, though, because many common TLDs, including .co.za, are eligible for free transfer.

Ensure your domain is in good standing with your current registrar. Verify that it’s not locked, and your contact information is up-to-date.

Obtain the Authorization Code (if required)

Some domains may require an authorization code (also known as an EPP code or transfer key) for the transfer process. Contact your current registrar to obtain this code.

Start the Transfer with Rapidnet

Visit our domain transfer page on the Rapidnet website and begin the transfer process. You will need to provide your domain name, authorization code (if necessary), and select the domain extension you want to transfer.

Confirm Your Transfer

Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your domain transfer. Review the details to ensure accuracy.

Wait for Confirmation

Once you’ve completed the transfer request, our team will take care of the rest. We’ll communicate with your current registrar to initiate the transfer process.

Verify Transfer Completion

You’ll receive notifications and updates throughout the transfer process. Once the transfer is complete, your domain will be under the care of Rapidnet.
